The optional top-of-the-range system is Park Assist, which can steer ŠKODA OCTAVIA into parking spaces almost by itself.

The OCTAVIA can search for a suitable parking spot at speeds of up to 40 km/h. Once the sensors find a space large enough (i.e. length of the car + 60 cm), the system guides the driver in. Available as an optional extra.

When the ŠKODA OCTAVIA is towing a trailer, the optional system takes over steering when reversing slowly. The driver just has to set the angle they would like to use for reversing.

When reverse gear is engaged, the camera in the tailgate is activated and the image is shown on the infotainment system display. Dynamic guide lines laid over the image show the direction in which the vehicle would go with the position of the steering wheel or indicate when it should be turned. Available as an optional extra (standard on style).
